First Responder Fridays Are Coming
A new weekly series focused on supporting the ones who always answer the call.
Every call. Every shift. Every time.
Whether you’re racing toward flashing lights, answering the radio, or standing beside someone’s worst day — you show up. But somewhere along the way, maybe you stopped asking: “Who’s showing up for me?”
We see you. And we know the job doesn’t just live in your hours. It lives in your bones, your sleep (or lack of it), your relationships, and your nervous system.
That’s why we’re launching something just for you —
💬 First Responder Fridays.
🗓️ What It Is
Starting this Friday, we’re rolling out a weekly post just for first responders — featuring:
Real tools to reduce stress and improve sleep
Clear education about trauma, burnout, and recovery
Peer insight from those who’ve been there too
Supportive resources you can use right now (and actually want to read)
These aren’t therapy sessions. These are survival tools.
What to Expect
Each Friday, check your inbox, our website, or our Facebook page for new tips, strategies, and encouragement — written specifically with firefighters, EMTs, police, dispatchers, nurses, corrections, mental health workers, and field responders in mind.
✅ Week 1 launches this Friday (5/16/25):
What is a Critical Incident Debriefing — and Why Does It Matter?
We’ll break down what happens during a critical incident stress debrief, how it helps your brain and body recover, and why using tools like this doesn’t make you weak — it makes you last.
🤝 We’re Better Together
First Responder Friday isn’t just about the job. It’s about the people behind the uniform, and the communities that rise with you and stand beside you.
Healing happens in community — not isolation. That’s why we’re creating space for:
Peer support
Trainings you can actually use
Downloadable tools for your crew
Events and support groups where you’re not the only one who gets it
You don’t have to navigate the weight of this work on your own. Let us stand beside you.
🔥 Join the Movement
We know you won’t always ask for help — so we’re bringing it to you.
Check our Facebook page, inbox, or the Angelus website every Friday.
Forward it to a colleague. Tape it to the fridge. Use what works. Skip what doesn’t. Just don’t go it alone.
You take care of everyone else.
Let First Responder Friday be one small way we take care of you.
🐦🔥You were never meant to rise from the ashes alone.🐦🔥
