Not all struggles are easily seen, but that does not mean that they are’t deeply felt. This week blog focuses on the those that appear like they have it all together, that always have things organized and work done just right. Those that we go to for help because we often do not see that below the surface they may be struggling with high functioning anxiety. Experiencing an inner dread and panic that they push through but that takes a toll on their physical and emotional health.
We all experience worry or anxiety at various levels when opening up to something new or different. It becomes an active struggle to avoid the butterflies in the stomach or the tightness in the chest that may come with the thought of the potential ‘what ifs’. Learning how to overcome this and turn worry from toxic to working is an ongoing process. This week’s blog focuses on tips to fighting toxic worry.
