Licensed Social Worker
Adolescent & Adult Therapist
Hi! I’m Cody, an outpatient therapist at Angelus. Thank you for considering me for your counseling needs. I understand that life can be unpredictable and at times leave you feeling down or overwhelmed. That’s where I come in.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a type of counseling that focuses on sorting out how your thoughts and behaviors can work for or against you, and want to help you challenge any unhealthy thoughts or behavior patterns to improve your quality of life.
Why Work With Me?
Tackling your mental health can be exhausting! There are so many layers involved with how we feel and respond to things, and working through them can feel like a daunting process. Which means, we need to first start with creating an active balance of determination and self care. Setting your sights on what you want to get out of the therapy process and identifying the mile markers you would like to see along the way. Knowing that ahead of time can really empower us to hit the ground running and make sustainable changes in your life.
The road won’t be easy, but you also won’t have to travel it alone. I value working with clients experiencing depression and anxiety and aiding them through this stage of their lives. Anxiety and depression may very common issues, but can also be very debilitating and the impact of them is very real.

Fun Facts about me:
I understand that personal value, self-worth and a sense of balance are at the center of the healing process. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me either painting miniatures (yes I am that kind of geek), watching football, playing board games, or spending time with friends. Self-care is an important aspect of one’s mental health journey and I look forward to aiding you in creating your working self care routine.
