Lori brings her wealth of experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practioner to provide holistic well-being, incorporating psychiatric medication management and compassionate healing.
*Please note that while Angelus is dedicated to the overall well-being of our clients, we do not directly provide medication services. Instead, we have proudly contracted with Lori Dado, LLC, who will offer these essential services at our New Castle location, ensuring a collaborative and integrative care model for our valued clients.
Lori’s journey to mental health care is deeply rooted in her passion for helping others find strength, healing, and overall well-being. She found her calling in mental health during her early years as an RN, where she spent 8 fulfilling years on a psychiatric in-patient unit. This invaluable experience ignited her understanding of the profound impact mental health has on individuals’ lives.
Choosing to transition from working within family medicine and school nursing, to mental health was a conscious decision driven by Lori’s desire to create a meaningful difference. She believes in fostering a genuine connection with her clients, a bond that she finds deeply fulfilling. As a dedicated team player, Lori appreciates the collaborative effort of working alongside therapists to provide comprehensive care.

Availability & Scheduling:
All intial appointments are scheduled in person in our New Castle office. If deemed appropriate follow up appointments may be scheduled virtually.
- Tuesday & Wednesday evenings
- & Some Saturday mornings available
Coverage: I am currently in network Highmark/ Blue Cross/ Blue Shield Plans and Optum/United plans. I am in the process of paneling with UPMC, Aetna, and Cigna.
Want to get scheduled to see Lori?
Due to limited availability you must first be referred by your Angelus therapist to servies with Lori Dado, LLC. Once referred you will need to complete a couple forms that you will receive in your patient portal. After these are completed our admin team will reach out to you to find an appointment that meets your needs. If Lori is not yet paneled with your insurance you will be placed on her waiting list and notified once this is completed.
