As a licensed therapist I have focused my practice on helping people enhance the quality of there ‘here and now’ life. We work together on identifying stressors, triggers and issues impacting home and work life and then aim at to identify how these can be changed, altered or improved. This may include looking at current or past relationship patterns, building stronger boundaries and developing needed life and coping skills to help you move forward. We will work to identify past traumas or events that are currently impacting you, enhance your ability to manage triggers in the present and work towards ‘living your best best life, however that may be defined’. My aim is to not to pick a path for you but to help you see more clearly where you want/need to be.
Why Work With Me?
I am a very strait forward and matter-of-fact based therapist; known for the use of sarcasm and humor to reframe life’s stressors. I work best with older teens and adults who value a strait forward approach. My goal is to help you create the life you see as worth living and I will use a combination of strengths based coaching and reality therapy to help you get there. I have training and skill in using various clinical approaches (Cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness, Safe Zone trained, etc) that I use within the treatment sessions and challenge you to use between appointments to help build that life worth living.

Life is full of transitions; some inspire us, some excite us, and some scare the hell out of us; but all push us towards something new. Whether you are going through a transition in relationships, career, or identity I am here to help. Understanding that even the ‘wrong’ choices still help us shape our reality of who we are and who we are going to become. I will never make your decisions for you, but I will challenge you to choose, to pick a side of the road and avoid being run over by the semi’s on life highway.
Availability: I see clients on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Evenings 4:30-6:30 PM.
