Lawrence County Drug & Alcohol Commission
The Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission provides a full continuum of drug and alcohol services. Internally, we provide the following services:

People in Need
People in Need has a food pantry contracted with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The federal government provides some basic commodity foods through the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). The program offers assistance to those who meet the household income guidelines. Non-perishable donations are welcome. Please call for appointments. Food pantry is open on Thursdays, 9:00am – 3:00pm |

Family Care Food Pantry:

Applicants must call 724-652-4321 to arrange an appointment. Identification and proof of income for everyone in the household should be brought to the appointment.

Inter-Church Food Pantry:
Monday and Thursday 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This service is provided to any area church that has a member of their congregation that has a need for food. Applicants must bring a referral form from their Pastor. The Pastor is responsible for evaluating the applicant’s need. Applicants must call ahead to make an appointment.
Pastors may contact the Family Care Ministry at 724-652-4321 to obtain a referral form.
