About Sarah Marich
Licensed Professional Counselor
Child, Teen, & Adult Therapist
Hi! I’m Sarah — and if there’s one thing I believe wholeheartedly, it’s that everyone deserves a space where they feel truly heard, seen, and supported. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my passion lives at the intersection of play, connection, and healing. I walk alongside my clients — not ahead of them, not behind them — because this is your journey, and I’m just here to help you find your way.
My heart belongs to the little ones. Working with kids 12 and under (especially the under-6 crowd!) is where I come alive. I’m trained in Play Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) — two approaches that meet kids exactly where they are and speak their language. Because kids don’t always have the words for big feelings, but they always have a way of showing us what’s going on inside.
🎮 For Kids: I use child-led play therapy to create a safe, fun space where kiddos can explore their feelings, work through big emotions, and grow — one Lego tower, one Barbie, one game of Uno at a time. I also bring families into the process, because kids don’t exist in a vacuum. When the whole family is on board, that’s where the real magic happens.
🧢 For Teens: I meet teens where they are — slang, humor, and all. I know they’ve got enough pressure in their lives, so therapy with me is laid-back, real, and actually kind of fun. We might play Jenga, talk about highs and lows, or just decompress together. No pressure. No interrogation.
Sarah officially joins the Angelus team on June 4, 2026 — Now accepting new clients!
🌿 For Adults: Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or tricky relationship dynamics, I bring a calm and grounded presence to help you make sense of things and move forward. I’m trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, as well as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
Why Work With Sarah?
Sarah brings warmth, humor, and a genuine sense of calm into every session. She believes that therapy for kids should never feel scary — and that play isn’t just fun, it’s the whole point. Her approach is holistic: she doesn’t just work with the child in the room, she works with the family, the dynamics, the home environment — because that’s where real, lasting change takes root.
She takes a slow, intentional approach — especially in those first few weeks — focused on building trust before anything else. She’s honest with families about what to expect: healing is a marathon, not a sprint, and she’ll be right there with you for the whole run.
She has deep experience supporting kids with ADHD, ODD, autism, and anxiety — including some of the youngest clients, ages 2 and up, where early intervention can make a real difference. For teens, she keeps it low-pressure and relatable. For adults, she brings that same warmth to help you work through anxiety, depression, trauma, or whatever you’ve been carrying.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will take your child (or you!) seriously, show up consistently, and make the process feel safe — Sarah is your person. She can’t wait to meet you.
🎲 Fun Facts about Sarah!
When she’s not in session, you might find Sarah at a comic con, deep into a video game, or working on a crocheting or embroidery project. She loves being outdoors, getting creative, and spending time with her two cats.
She’s the kind of person who shows up as her full, authentic self — and that comes with her into the therapy room every day.
